I know, it took long enough! I finally released what has became book #14, The Fart Encyclopedia! I got the idea for the book years ago when I saw the book entitled, "The Fart Book" at Cards N Such when I was a kid. I wanted the book, but my parents wouldn't let me. No surprise there, as my parents' favorite words to me as a child was NO!! By the time I was able to get it on my own I'd forgotten about it, and I think by that point Cards N Such was gone.
I recently purchased the book and its sequels and thought, "I can do something like this." After all, there aren't a lot of books out there about farts. Plus, I had so much fun writing and doing some of the artwork for "Why We Prefer Cats" that I decided to take a chance. So far the feedback has been great, although that is the initial hoopla. I don't know how many people will buy it. Let's hope they actually do. My friend Jonas predicted that this will be the book that will make me famous. Can you imagine that? After many books and many years it's a book about farts that finally makes me a famous writer?!
So, what projects are on the horizon? I am going to finish the book about Tony "IT" Sarkka. It has kind of taken a back seat for the moment, though. After hearing back from some of his friend and family, it needs some heavy editing, mostly in the facts department. No, big deal, as I wanted to tell the truth anyway. I predict it will be out by summer.
Finally, I am putting the finishing touches on The Willow Arboretum Anthology. It will have all five books, a bonus story, and character profiles with illustrations and some other surprises. Will this be the last Willow Arboretum book? I still haven't made up my mind, but never say never! Besides I think there are more stories to be told, maybe some prequels or origin stories? Or have I said too much?
I also would like to get some earlier works of mine done like the scary/suspense stories and the angel stories finished and publish those respective anthologies. What about my long-awaited 4th poetry anthology?
To be honest, it would be great if I could make it as a writer so that I can get all these projects done. My wife even said that I should be able to do this for a living. I think so, too. So if you're reading this, please buy my books and encourage your friends and family to do so. Write letters to Hollywood and tell them that "Bride of Blood" and the Willow Arboretum stories would make great movies!!
Thank you for reading and for your love and support.
